Hi,
So I know I said that I would disappear for the length of the holidays but the internet's now fixed; so here I am. I doubt you want to hear about the action-packed days I've been having (what with the omgsoexciting 10 hours of tv and all). So instead, I'll just share with you this accoustic version of the OutKast song Hey Ya which makes you realise that it is actually quite a sad song. Oh, and here are the lyrics so that you can follow along and also just in case you don't believe me when I said it's a sad song (oh and the link opens up into a new window because I am so, so thoughtful. yeah, whatever). Anyway, if you're free and you're in Singapore Oh and I know Leanne's already blogged about it, but I shall blog about it in a much more superficial, paedophilic manner. You know the Malay busker with the long hair that sings (badly) and plays guitar (badly) in the underpass leading to Wheelock? Yeah, everyone ought to go see his little daughter whom he now brings along. She is so0o0o cute. Every time you give money (and now you're compelled to because you're overcome by cuteness) she insists on shaking your hand. And today, when I was giving money (you know, because no one is safe from the power of cuteness) she said my tshirt was nice! Actually, it isn't even my t-shirt, it's Gillian's. But I'll take whatever I can get! I don't think I should be a kindergarten teacher because I'd just put all the ugly kids in the corner and turn their desks towards the wall and put all the cute kids in the front and be damn nice to them. Maybe I should set up a kindergarten for cute kids. Then I won't have that problem. If this blog was actually popular, I can see how my idea of child care might be construed as I would stop babbling if not for the fact that the internet is on the brink again and I've chosen verbal epilepsy over simply waiting for it to reconnect. Didn't you receive my trackback?
Oh wow! Sorry, I'm no good with the techie stuff. I don't know how to send or receive trackbacks. Wow I feel so honoured now
If you haven't turned them off in the settings of manage plugins->event plugins->anti spam plugin (the name of the setting is "api comments" and it should be set to "moderate"), you should have a mail asking you to either approve or discard it. If you haven't received this mail, go to the plugin settings as described, set the value to "moderate" and I'll send it again.
What is gonna happen is that above the comments and below the entry, in the trackbacks section which is now empty, you will see an excerpt of my blog entry along with the title and link.
It's basically an automated mechanism that links back to my page, because I linked to yours.
Yadayada.
9am. Brain no operate.
it all seems to be in order. I'm not sure why it doesn't work. And you should really get some sleep! Thanks for you help
I am just proving my own point here, but: I wrote the above entry at 8am, not 9
